Luiz Firmino: "I've come here to become the best fighter in the world"

After Rob Emerson was forced to withdraw from SCC 3, Luiz "Buscape" Firmino (20-5) has stepped up to take on John Alessio for the evening's main event.

In a previous interview, "Buscape" said he "wants to improve every day" and that "his main goal is to become the best fighter in the world".

The 29-year-old Brazilian, originally from Joao Pessoa, Paraiba (Brazil) has had 25 pro MMA fights since his debut back in 2000.


"Buscape" has fought in M-1, Pride and Dream, and is now ready to make his SCC-debut at SCC 3.


With "Alessio vs. Firmino" as a new main event, SCC 3 now includes:
